I did the tutorial in PSP9, but I’m sure it can be made in other versions as well.

This is what we are going to make:

You will need:

Tube mh_purpleFlowers

Pattern zilverbeans

Materials here

Lets begin:

Take this clip with you, so you can see where you are in the tutorial

Step 1.

Open new image 600 x 600

Step 2.

Copy tube, paste new layer

Step 3.

Duplicate, mirror

Move the tubes so the stems come together

Step 4.

Close the bottom layer, and merge visible, keep the bottom layer closed.

Duplicate the merged layer, and move the toplayer down and the other layer up so the image looks like this

Step 5.

Merge visible

Adjust – Blur – Gaussian Blur, with these settings:

Effects – Texture – Sandstone, with these settings:

Step 6.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer

Effects – 3D effects – Drop Shadows, with these settings:

New raster layer

Flood fill with #4e2a70

Selections – Select all

Selections – Modify – Contract 4 pixels

Hit delete on your keyboard one time

Step 8

On your material palette select pattern and find zilverbean pattern

Flood fill

Selections – modify – contract 4 pixels

Hit delete on your keyboard one time

Step 9

Flood fill with #4e2a70

Selections – Select all

Selections – Modify – Contract 4 pixels

Hit delete on your keyboard one time

Selections – Select none

Step 10

New raster layer

Add your name and- or watermark with a font of your own choise.

Merge Visible

Step 11

Image resize

And you are done
